How do I activate Smart Simulation?

1. Requirements

Smart Simulation can only be activated if automation has already been enabled for the client account. Otherwise, the steps to enable automation will be triggered first.

2. Activate Smart Simulation for all users

Smart Simulation can be activated for all users in the account or only for certain user groups.

To activate it for everyone, you can carry out a global activation from the automation settings or from the dashboard.

From the automation settings

Go to your Cyber Coach settings, then to the “Automated Program” menu. There you’ll find an option to activate Smart Simulation for the entire account, which will activate it for all groups.

From the dashboard, by clicking the “Enable Smart Simulation” button:

  • If automation is already activated: Smart Simulation is enabled immediately, and a confirmation message appears.

  • If automation is not yet activated: You’ll be redirected to the steps for activating automation. Smart Simulation is automatically enabled once automation is activated.

3. Activate Smart Simulation for a User Group

It is also possible to activate Smart Simulation only for a specific group, without activating it for all users in the account.

If Smart Simulation is not yet activated at the account level, activating it for a group automatically activates Smart Simulation at the account level. However, other groups remain deactivated: only users in the selected group are activated.

4. Activate or deactivate Smart Simulation for a user

It is also possible to activate or deactivate Smart Simulation for an individual user.

To do this, go directly to the user’s profile from the Cyber Coach menus and check the box for “Use AI-generated models.”

Enabling Smart Simulation at the user level alone is not sufficient to receive Smart Simulation campaigns: the feature must also be enabled at the account level and for at least one of its groups.

5. Cascading Activation Rules

Smart Simulation activation follows a cascading logic across the account, groups, and users.

  • By default, Smart Simulation is inactive.

  • A global activation automatically enables Smart Simulation for all groups and their users.

  • Enabling it at the group level activates Smart Simulation on the account if necessary, then for the selected group and all its users. Other groups remain disabled.

  • Enabling it at the user level applies only to that user.

Note: This cascading logic applies only during activation. Disabling Smart Simulation at one level does not automatically disable it at other levels.

For a user to receive Smart Simulation campaigns, the following three conditions must be met:

  • Smart Simulation is active on the client account;

  • Smart Simulation is enabled for at least one group to which the user belongs;

  • Smart Simulation is enabled at the user level.

6. How can I tell if Smart Simulation is enabled?

6.1. From the dashboard

The Cyber Coach dashboard displays the activation status of Smart Simulation for the customer account. A visual indicator lets you see at a glance whether Smart Simulation is active or not.

6.2. From the automation settings

The activation status of Smart Simulation is also visible in the automation settings.

6.3. At the user group level

From a group’s view in Cyber Coach, you can check whether Smart Simulation is enabled or disabled for that specific group via the “Use AI-generated models” option and the information banner.

6.4. At the user level

From a user’s profile in Cyber Coach, you can check whether Smart Simulation is enabled or disabled for that specific user via the “Use AI-generated models” option.
