1. Termination

How do I completely terminate a client as a VAR ?

  • Complete termination involves removing all products during renewal,

  • A termination reason must be provided

  • If the modification is blocked (multi-reseller or deadline exceeded), it will be necessary to contact Mailinblack's sales department.

2. Renewal

How can I know if my client's contract is coming to term ?

As a VAR reseller, you can check your client's renewal from the "Renewal" tab on their client file. You'll find there:

  • The contract end date (and therefore the renewal date),

  • The type of renewal: tacit or non-tacit.

I don't see a renewal yet, what should I do ?

If this is the first time you're checking the renewal:

  • The portal will ask you to generate the renewal offer.

  • Once generated, you'll be able to view and modify the renewal.

Which information is visible in an existing renewal ?

When a renewal already exists, you can view:

  • The number of licenses per product,

  • The renewed products,

  • The new unit price per license,

  • The total amount billed at renewal.

Can I modify a renewal to reduce or stop products ?

Yes. By clicking "Modify," you can:

  • Add licenses or products

  • Reduce the number of licenses,

  • Remove products (by setting the number of licenses to 0),

  • Switch from a U Cyber offer to À la carte,

  • Switch from Advanced to Essential.

👉 Important: If you remove a product, you must indicate a termination reason.

Until when can I modify a renewal ?

A renewal can no longer be modified when there are fewer than 4 days remaining before the contract end date.

Why is my renewal modification blocked ?

Two main cases:

1. Multi-reseller client

  • If the client is associated with multiple resellers, no modification is possible from the portal.

  • You must go through Mailinblack.

2. Renewal already validated

  • Once validated, no modification or amendment is possible until the renewal date.

What happens if I make an amendment after modifying the renewal ?

Warning: any contract modification (amendment) will overwrite the information from the already modified renewal. It is therefore recommended to finalize the strategy (amendment or renewal) before taking action.

Can I validate a renewal without modification ?

Yes, but only within the authorized window: between 3 months and 4 days before the current contract end date. Outside this period, validation is not possible.

How do I validate a renewal with modification ?

If you have modified the renewal (tacit or non-tacit client):

  • You must validate the renewal from the portal,

  • Licenses and products will be automatically updated on the renewal date.

Once validated: No amendment is possible on the current contract until the end date.
