How can I create a new customer?

Log in to your Partner Portal interface and go to the My Customers page.

1. My Customers

On this page, you can access the list of your customers categorized as Installed, Installation in progress, Prospect, and Lost.

2. Customer Creation

To create a customer, you must first create a Prospect with their general information and then define the offer and licenses you wish to provide.

In "My Customers," click on "Add a client" at the top right.

2.1 General Information

In the general information section, you must first enter your customer's name and SIRET number, followed by the necessary details (address, industry, segment/company size) as well as their key contacts.

👉 The technical contact is the person who will receive the onboarding link to perform the service installation. If you enter multiple contacts, they will all receive the onboarding link.

Click Next.

2.2 Offer & Licenses

After creating the Prospect, you will be redirected to your future customer's new file to select the offer you wish to provide.

To do this, click on Select an offer in the customer's Licenses tab.

2.2.1 VAR Reseller

Creating an offer for your Prospect involves creating a quote.

Select the type of offer: U-Cyber 360° or Custom, depending on your customer's needs.

  • For a U-cyber 360° offer, enter the desired number of licenses. A U-cyber 360° license provides a user with all Mailinblack products.

  • For a Custom offer, indicate the number of licenses desired for each product. If you do not wish to subscribe to a product, leave the number of licenses at 0.

Once you add at least one license for a product offering Essential / Advanced levels, you can select the desired level.

Set a provisional start date: This corresponds to the date from which the licenses will be deployed on the customer's platform.

Set a commitment period: You can choose a commitment period of:

  • 12 months

  • 24 months

  • 36 months The selected duration applies to all licenses in the quote.

When all details are filled in, click "Create a quote." It will immediately appear on the customer's file.

👉 It is possible to create multiple quotes for the same prospect. They will all remain visible until one of them is validated.

You then have the option to view the created quotes and choose to:

  • Validate the quote: To validate a quote, you must accept the ToU (CGUM). Once validated, the contract is created and licenses are assigned to the customer.

  • Refuse the quote: You must provide a reason for refusal. The quote will then disappear from your Partner Portal.

  • Download the quote: The quote can be downloaded in PDF format.

  • Modify the quote: Any modification leads to an automatic recalculation of the quote amount.

👉 A quote that is not validated or refused within 30 days of its creation is automatically considered lost and disappears from the portal.

2.2.2 MSP and Easy Manage (EM) Reseller

You can choose the products offered to your customer between the U-cyber 360° offer or a Custom Offer :

  • If you select the U-cyber 360° offer, you only need to define the number of licenses.

  • With the Custom offer, you can choose the number of licenses independently for each product and add options if desired.

👉 The Advanced offer level is only available for VAR and MSP partnerships.

Click "Confirm license modification" to apply the licenses to your new customer.

3. Start Customer Installation

When licenses are assigned to the customer, the Prospect automatically becomes a Customer, and their installation status moves to the "Prerequisites" stage.

From the customer file, you can:

  • Access the onboarding to start the customer's installation on their platform.

  • Manually send the onboarding email to the customer's contacts so they can install the service independently.
