You will also need to modify the SPF record associated with your domain name to add Mailinblack as a legitimate relay: include:spf.mailinblack.com

For an internal mail server

If you have a mail server within your infrastructure (e.g. Exchange, Lotus DOMINO):

  1. Create a connector whose host will be the address of your Mailinblack server (e.g. smtp11.mailinblack.com).

  2. Provide us with the IP address of the mail server that sends the messages, so that this IP is authorized on the Mailinblack server.

For an Internet mail server

If the mail server is that of your Internet provider or domain name host :

  1. Modify your e-mail client configuration, replacing the SMTP server with the address of your Mailinblack server (e.g. smtp11.mailinblack.com).

  2. Follow the procedure on MAC or iOS

1. For Mail App on MAC :

  1. From the Mail menu, select Preference.

5. In the account go to Advanced settings :

6. In the Sending server section, press SMTP Server SMTP Gmail ! (Theoretically other information will be in place)

7. The SMTP menu looks like this. On this page you'll see all the sending servers configured and therefore available on your application. We're now going to add the one that will enable you to use the Appliance. To do this, click on New....

8. Fill in the three available fields:

  • Hostname: address of your Mailinblack server that has been communicated to you (Ex: smtp11.mailinblack.com)

  • Account name: email address protected by Mailinblack

  • Password: password set on Mailinblack interface

9. If necessary, adjust the settings from here, then :

  • Activate the server by checking the Server box so that the button turns green.

  • Check that the Use SSL button is off (white)

  • Check that the Server port is either 25 or 587.

  • For the Authentication field, leave it as default or choose Password.

  • Confirm with Finish at top right

To be sure you're going out via Mailinblack's SMTP server, remember to set it as the primary server and/or disable the other SMTP servers set up on your account.
