You will also need to modify the SPF record associated with your domain name to add Mailinblack as a legitimate relay: include:spf.mailinblack.com.

  1. In the Account settings, go to the Outgoing server (SMTP) menu and click on "Add".

Thunderbird 1 SMTP Sortant Mailinblack

2. Enter the following values:

  • Server name: (Ex: smtp1.mailinblack.com)

  • Port : 25 or 587

  • Username : email address protected by Mailinblack

  • Authentication method : Password, unsecured transmission

  • Connection security : STARTTLS

Thunderbird 2 SMTP Sortant

3. Configure account to send via this connector

Thunderbird 3 SMTP Sortant

4. The next time you send a mail, you will be asked for a password. You will need to enter the password for the Mailinblack account.

You can indicate that you wish to save the password for future mailings.
