Interface Presentation
The extension interface looks like this:
This drop-down menu allows you to choose whether you wish to display all the safes or a specific one. You can also use the search function to find a registered identifier more quickly.
You'll find up to three buttons for each of your logins, the first and second allowing you to quickly copy the login or password respectively, the third redirecting you to the login page registered for that login. If no URL is entered, the button will not be displayed.
You can easily create a new login from the extension without going through MySikker.
On this side menu, the first button is the one selected by default, and displays the contents of your safe. The second takes you to the password generator.
The third redirects you to Mysikker, by opening a new tab on your browser.
The fourth locks your extension, and you'll be asked for your pin code or master password when you reopen it.
The fifth displays your profile, name, first name and email address, giving you the option of logging out or accessing the MySikker interface.
Creating a new element from the extension
When you add a new item to the extension, you will have the choice between an ID, a note, a credit card, or an address.
The process for creating a new item is identical to that on MySikker.
Connecting to a website
For example, here, with a login saved with the SFR Business URL in the safe, when we go to the login page, if the extension is unlocked, Sikker will automatically fill in the Login and Password field, if the adequate option is activated on MySikker
The Sikker icon displays three different states:
-> You are not logged in to app.mailinblack.com
-> You are logged in, but your safe is locked, you need to enter your Pin Code or Master Password in the extension.
->You are logged in and your safe is unlocked.
If your safe contains several identifiers for the same site, then filling will not be automatic and will require a click on the Sikker symbol in theIdentifier field:
You can then choose the right ID from the list proposed by the extension.
If you don't see your second ID, you can check the box "Search entire domain" box to search your vault for IDs registered for the website whole domain.
So, once you're on a website, you can open the Sikker extension, and a pre-search will automatically be made on the URL of the site you're on to display the right identifiers directly.
Alternatively, you can write the first few characters of the required ID:
Also, once you're on a website, you can open the Sikker extension, and a pre-search will automatically be made on the URL of the site you're on to display the right identifiers directly.
In our example with SFR Business, this gives :
#sikker #extension #mysikker #autofill #password #login
